Tumor Humor is a personal show about what happens when life takes a turn you absolutely did not plan for—and you still have to figure out how to live it.

Drawing on my experiences with a brain tumor, epilepsy, and heart trouble, I talk about the strange, frightening, frustrating, and surprisingly funny parts of being a person with a growing medical history.

There’s uncertainty. There are people who show up for you. There are moments when you really don’t know what to do. And there’s a lot to laugh about along the way.

About Rudy

I’m a comedian, teacher, personal trainer, and host of Jokes and the Gym, based in Eugene, Oregon. I’ve been performing stand-up for more than 15 years, beginning in South Korea and eventually performing in eight countries.

Tumor Humor has been performed at Eugene Art House, and I’m continuing to develop the show through live performances.
